On November 7,1918, Astrakhan State Medical University was established, earlier it was also known as Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education. ASMU offer bachelor's program in General Medicine, Dentistry and Pharmacy.

ASMU campus is comprises of 12 faculties , 60 departments and it offer PG course in 26 specialties. • The age criteria for aspirant is that there age must be above 17 and below 25 years of age.

• The applicant must have cleared 10+2 with authorized board, with mandatory subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English.

• If the applicant is from general category then he/she needs to have minimum 50% and if he/she is from reserved category like SC/ST/OBC then they need to have minimum 45% in the above mentioned subjects.

• Its compulsory for Indian students to clear NEET exam.

Admission Process at ASMU

The whole process of admission is comprises of 4-5 easy steps, here they are.

• The very first step is consist of registration ,where applicant need to register themselves on the online admission portal of the university by attaching the required documents.

• Applicant need to wait for at least 6-7 days ,they will receive the admission letter once their documents is verified and approved by the university. After receiving admission letter applicant need to submit their original documents and within 15 days applicant will receive the approval letter from the ministry.

• If above two steps has been done rightly then applicant need to submit fees to the university bank account.

• Now applicant need to apply for online visa which might take around 5-7 working days.

• At last applicant need to prepare for travel arrangements.
