NEET is officially known with the name of National Eligibility cum Entrance Test. The test is conducted by the NTA, which is the National Testing Agency. The exam is conducted on a computer. Eligibility Criteria for NEET UG
- • All the Indians, PIO, Foreign Nationals, NRI and OCI are eligible to take NEET UG exam.
- • The lower limit to give NEET UG is 17 years and the upper limit is not given by the NTA to give the exam.
- • The students need to be 10+2 passed along with PCB to take NEET.
- • The boards of the recognized board and open school scores can be accepted by the NEET.
- • The minimum of 50% can be attained by the generals, 45% by the PwD and 40% by the SC/ST in 10+2 students to take NEET compulsory.
Syllabus of NEET
The paper is divided into three sections.
Physics : There are various topics covered in this section. It tests the physics ability of a student. These topics are physical world and measurement, laws of motion, gravitation, thermodynamics, electrostatistics, magnetic effects of current and magnetism, optics, atoms and nuclei, kinematics, rotational motion, properties of bulk matters, oscillations and waves, current electricity, electromagnetic induction and alternating currents, dual nature of matter and radiation and electronics devices.
Chemistry : There are various topics covered in this section. The chemistry covered in this section includes questions from some basic concepts of chemistry, states of matter, block elements, organic compounds containing nitrogen, polymers, structure of atoms, hydrogen, p block elements, environmental chemistry, surface chemistry and chemistry in everyday life.
Biology : There are various topics covered in this section. The biology covered in this section includes questions from some structural organization in animals and plants, human physiology, reproduction, ecology and environment, plant physiology and ecology and environment.
NEET Registration Process
- The students have to register themselves on the official website of NTA.
- The admission window stays open for two months.
- They have to generate the Login ID and Password for login.
- The students have to upload the requested documents.
- At last, the students need to check the application form correctly.
- The students need to pay a fee after that.
Admit Card
- The students need to check in for admit card details.
