MBA GMAT Exam

GMAT is officially known as the Graduate Management Admission Test. It is taken by the students to pursue an MBA degree from the country. The exam is a computer -based exam. The exam tends to manage the analytical abilities in a student that can be judged with the help of sections like quantitative and verbal reasoning sections. This exam does not test the students from management education only it tests the basic knowledge of verbal skills and mathematics in a student. It makes sure that you present all the skills and values that are needed to get admission in a management institution.

Eligibility Criteria for GMAT

There is certain eligibility that the candidate or students must have to appear in a GMAT examination.

• • The students should be above 18 years of age.
• • The upper age limit to give the exam is not set.
• • The students who are from 13 to 17 years of age should provide a no objection certificate that has been signed by their parents or guardians to sit for the exam.
• • There is no qualification mentioned by the board to sit in the exam.
• • The students who want to enroll in an MBA course need to have a graduate degree in any subject.
• • GMAT exam is not required to have any experience to be seated in the exam. But, if you are trying to give this test for MBA you need to have experience accordingly.

Syllabus for GMAT

The GMAT exam goes for a total of 3 hours. It has four sections that decides whether you have the ability needed to study Management or not.

Analytic Writing : This portion consists of questions that are in the form of an essay. It is an essay of argument. The section could be taken out easily if you know why the argument is going on and what is the root cause of it and how to solve that without mistake.

Integrated Reasoning : This portion consists of questions that arise in the form of tables, two-parts, multi sources reasoning and graphic interpretation. All you need to do is solve these problems on the basis of analysis and reasoning that is only required to solve these problems. This section could be done easily if the student has a sharp mind that can easily find where the reasoning is needed and how to solve that easily.

Quantitative Reasoning : This portion consists of questions that are problem solving and data sufficiency. It allows the students to help them to manage and solve various problems that are relevant to the business fields.

Verbal Reasoning : This portion consists of questions that arise from unseen passages, critical reasoning and sentence correction. The student can take this section out easily with a keen eye and good memory that is needed to solve these problems.

GMAT: Thing to Know

• The application form needs for the exam to be submitted online.
• The registration window stays open for a period of 6 months.
• The students have to fill in all the details.
• They have to mention the active mail and phone number.
• They have to pay the application fee before the deadline.
• The result is declared a month after the exam.

Registration Process

• The students have to register on the official website.
• They have to generate the Login ID and Password for the reference.
• They have to upload the requested documents by the registration committee.
• At last, the students need to check the form correctly.
• They need to pay after that.

Admit Card

• The students need to check in for admit card details.
• They have to check for the admit card when the registration window gets closed.
• The students have to take a printout of the admit card that will be needed in the examination center.

Important Things for GMAT

• The students always need to have their admit card along with them.
• They also need to carry a valid identity along with them that can be asked by the examination center.
• They are not allowed to take calculators, smart watches, phones, tablets and any other electronic devices along with them inside the center.
• They are not allowed to have metallic jewelry and accessories inside with them.
• They are required to mention all the courses and subjects of MBA.
• They are not allowed to take bags, clothes with lots of pockets, jackets and closed footwear inside the examination hall.
• They are not allowed to have any eatables and beverages with them inside the center.

GMAT Results

• The students can look for the results from the official website.
• They will have a message and email received to them to check the results.
• The students can have a copy of results with them for future references.
• They are required to check the results on time to get the college of their choice.

Preparation for XAT

The preparation for GMAT should be done adequately and you need to have some things in mind for the exam.
