The Fergana State University Medical Center was established in 1992. The University is thought to be among the top academic institutions in Uzbekistan. It has been producing highly skilled individuals for many parts of the national economy and educational system for about 70 years, and it also carries out basic science research.
The development of the educational system, the recovery of the country's economy in the 1930s of the previous century, and the training of qualified experts for a variety of fields, especially for national education, are all factors that contributed to the formation of the university. A resolution passed by the Council of National Commissioners on May 1, 1930, served as the foundation for the establishment of the Fergana Pedagogical Institution at this time. The establishment of the school in the Ferghana Valley was important for the development of education as well as of scientific and creative projects. The institution has produced more than 10,000 highly qualified specialists in different areas of the national economy.
The Fergana State University Medical Center encourages the development of pedagogical and scientific capacity as well as the active improvement of teaching strategies and technology. Always do original, cutting-edge, and basic scientific research in the field of healthcare facilities.
