The college was opened in 2000. The college was built by the Smt. Shakuntla Educational and Welfare Society. The college is recognized by the Dr A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University. The society was registered under the Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860. The university has state of the art infrastructure that supports the learnings and teachings of various courses in the college.
