INI CET means the Institute of National Importance Combined Entrance Test. INI CET is conducted by different AIIMS bodies every year to provide admission to the MD, MDS, MCh, MS and MDS. The exam is conducted every year two times.
Eligibility Criteria for INI CET
- • The students need to have a MBBS degree from a recognized body.
- • The students need to have a one year completed internship.
- • The students need to have a minimum of 55% in MBBS by General, EWS, OBC category and 50% by SC, ST category.
- • The students need to have a registration certificate provided by NMC or State Council.
Syllabus of INI CET
Physical Chemistry : This portion consists of questions from anatomy, biochemistry and physiology.
- Anatomy: There are questions from microanatomy, neuroanatomy, gross anatomy and embryology and genetics that are studied in anatomy.
- Biochemistry: There are questions from biological cell, enzymes, biomolecules, metabolic pathways, physiological buffer systems, cancer and cancer makers, hormones and PH, food assimilation and nutrition, molecular biology, environmental biochemistry and immunology that are studied in biochemistry.
- Physiology: There are questions from gastrointestinal system, reproduction, kidney, blood, cardiovascular system, sensory system, motor system, special senses, sleep and higher nervous functions, general physiology, nerve muscle, nutrition, respiratory system, neurophysiology, the visceral and motivational system, EEG and yoga that are studied in physiology.
Para Clinical : This portion consists of questions from pathology, forensic medicine, pharmacology and microbiology.
- Pathology: There are questions from the complement system, tumor makers, barrett esophagus, sarcoidosis, hypersensitivity, coronary artery disease, glomerulonephritis flow cytometry, pedigree analysis and thyroid carcinoma that are studied in the pathology.
- Forensic Medicine: There are questions from the firearm injuries, seminal steams, ipc sections, toxicology, different doctrine, antemortem, cadaveric spasm, torture methods, bloodstains, types and signs of drowning, narcoanalysis, bites of various insects, autopsy methods of organ removal, rigor mortis and blast injuries that are studied in the forensic medicine.
- Pharmacology: There are questions from neuropharmacology, toxicology, molecular and cellular pharmacology, psychopharmacology and clinical pharmacology that are studied in the pharmacology.
- Microbiology: There are questions from vectors, heterophile antigen, mycoplasma pneumonia, dimorphic fungi, life cycle, immunodeficiency disorders, lab diagnosis, eggs in parasitology and viral hepatitis serology.
Clinical : This portion consists of questions from obstetrics, gynecology, community medicine, medicine, pediatrics, clinical postings and surgery.
- • Obstetrics: There are questions from preeclampsia, antepartum hemorrhage, uterine inversion, induction of labor, hyperemesis gravidarum, postpartum hemorrhage, uterine rupture, biophysical profile and indications of cesarean sections that are taught in the obstetrics.
- • Gynecology: There are questions from symptoms of ovulation, trichomonas, gonococcus and candida, emergency contraception, supports of uterus, menopause, process to manage fibroid uterus and prolapse of uterus, bacterial vaginosis, contraception and sterilization, menstrual cycle and postmenopausal bleeding that are taught in the gynecology.
- • Medicine: There are questions from dermatology and psychiatry that are taught in the medicine and allied subject.
- • Clinical Postings: There are questions from internal medicine, general surgery, ophthalmology, health education, pediatrics, orthopedics, family welfare and elective posting that are taught in clinical postings.
INI CET Registration Process
- The students have to register themselves on the official website of AIIMS.
- The admission window stays open for one month.
- They have to generate the Login ID and Password for login.
- The students have to upload the requested documents.
- At last, the students need to check the application form correctly.
- The students need to pay a fee after that.
Admit Card
- The students need to check in for admit card details.
- They have to check for the admit card when the registration window gets closed.
- The students have to take a printout of the admit card that will be needed in the examination center.

Preparation for INI CET
The preparation for INI CET should be done adequately and you need to have some things in mind for the exam.
