Institute of Engineering and Management was established in 1989, it is known as one of the oldest Engineering colleges of West Bengal, and it is the first self financed Engineering college of the state.IEM is a globally recognized education institute known for its education infrastructure, IEM always promote creativity, innovation, and excellence with the help of teaching which is purely based on examples to make it more practical to understand.

Eligibility Criteria For Admission In Engineering at IEM:

• • Candidates need to complete the higher secondary school from an authorized board.
• • Candidates must have scored 60% at-least in their higher secondary school.
• • Candidates must have Physics, Chemistry and Maths as their mandatory subjects.
• • Candidates need to clear the WBJEE entrance exam.

IEM Kolkata B-Tech Admission Process:

• • For admission to the B-Tech course, candidates need to meet the IEM Kolkata B-Tech eligibility criteria.
• • Apply and appear for Institute of Engineering and Management Joint Entrance Exam (IEMJEE) conducted by University of Engineering & Management (UEM).
• • However, other than IEMJEE the selection for B-Tech is done through JEE Main.
• • Candidates who qualify the entrance exam will be eligible to participate in the IEMJEE counseling process.
• • During the IEMJEE counseling process, candidates have to fill the choice of course of their interest.
• • Later, candidates need to get their documents verified and pay the course fees.
