The college was completed by the year 1995 to provide quality education to management students who are the future managers in the 21st century. The college has rich roots followed by the South Indian Education Society(SIES). It is one of the oldest and most-valued educational trusts that run various institutes in the city of Mumbai and Navi Mumbai. The college has one of the best infrastructure inside and outside the building.

It is the first college to offer an MBA degree in Pharmaceutical Industry. Along with that, it is the first college to receive a vertical program for the biotech sector. The Lloyd Register Quality Assurance certified the college with ISO 9001:2008 which was for quality education provided by the college. The college was also awarded the Malcolm-Baldrige National Quality Award in the year 2008 for quality education.

To get admission to this college you need to take an entrance examination. These entrance exams are CAT, XAT, GMAT, CMAT and XMAT. Admission in MCA requires you to take CET, MAH and MCA exams. The admission is finalized based on a personal interview and a group discussion to know the aspects that students want and why they want to join the institute. The college takes two-personal interviews which are based on different questions and purposes.
1. Masters in Management Studies : This program is a 2-year program offered by the college. The course is affiliated to the University of Mumbai and the course was approved by All India Council for Technical Education(AICTE). The program teaches the students about the different specialties in areas of Finance, Operations, Marketing and Systems and HR.
2. Masters in Computer Application : This program is a 2-year full-time program offered by the college. It was started by the college in the year of 2001. The course is recognized by the University of Mumbai. The program gives a brief of IT concepts, latest technologies and soft skills to the students. It makes the students ready to face the competitive corporate world. The program also offers a variety of skill-based courses to expose students to the latest technologies used in the industries.
